2024 NFL Draft Pick 5-8
5. Los Angeles Chargers: Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame
The Chargers will likely consider both a pass catcher and offensive tackle at this spot. However, new head coach Jim Harbaugh loves to run the ball and the Chargers finished 27th in the NFL averaging just 3.8 yards per carry. Due to this look for the team to draft one of the best run blockers in the 2024 NFL Draft.

6. New York Giants: Olumuyiwa Fashanu, OT, Penn State
The second tackle taken off the board is Penn State’s Olumuyiwa Fashanu, who should be able to team with Andrew Thomas to give the team two high-quality bookend offensive tackles. He also would allow the team to move on from 2022 first-round pick Evan Neal who has struggled since being the seventh overall pick.

7. Tennessee Titans: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
The Titans have a new head coach in former Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan. One of the main reasons Callahan got this job was the potent passing game he established in Cincinnati, and look for him to try and establish the same thing in Tennessee. One major step in that direction is adding LSU’s Malik Nabers who is the school’s all-time leader in receptions.

8. Atlanta Falcons: Dallas Turner, OLB, Alabama
The Falcons would love to add a quarterback with this selection, but no player left on the board is worth this pick. Due to this, the Falcons will add a pass rusher for new head coach Raheem Morris. Alabama’s Dallas Turner would likely be the best fit in Morris’s 3-4 scheme.
