2024 NFL mock draft: 5 QBs taken in the Top 15; Bills, Vikings make blockbuster moves

NFL Draft Notebook's mock draft picks 6-10
While the Giants would love to take a quarterback with the sixth overall pick, the top four single-callers are all gone and no other quarterback is worth this selection. This leads to the Giants giving Daniel Jones some help in the passing game by adding the dynamic Malik Nabers. Last season, Nabers earned a 99.9 deep receiving grade by Pro Football Focus and also forced 27 missed tackles.
While I think the Titans will strongly consider going with Rome Odunze with this pick, new head coach Brian Callahan needs to prioritize the offensive line. Notre Dame’s Joe Alt is the top offensive tackle in the 2024 NFL Draft and is someone I have been high on all season. Look for him to be a day-one starter at left tackle for Tennessee.
After trading down from pick four the Cardinals trade up with Atlanta and only have to give up the 11th and 35th picks to do so. This trade up allows them to get the last elite wide receiver in the 2024 NFL Draft, before Chicago would likely take with the ninth overall pick. Odunze would give the Cardinals their best wide receiver since Larry Fitzgerald Jr.
The Saints have serious questions at both offensive tackle spots, which is why they trade up to snag Penn State’s Olumuyiwa Fashanu. In order to move up from pick 14 to number nine they trade next year’s second-round selection and one of their four fifth-round picks this year. Fashanu is an athletic left tackle with All-Pro potential.
New York will likely consider tight end Brock Bowers with this pick but instead decide to address the offensive line with the addition of J.C. Latham. While New York added Tyron Smith and Morgan Moses in free agency both of these players have long injury histories. In Latham, the Jets get a physical run blocker who could play either tackle spot.
