2024 NFL Draft inside linebacker rankings

ACC: Jeremiah Trotter Jr, Clemson: One of the top playmaking linebackers in the 2024 NFL Draft is Clemson’s Jeremiah Trotter Jr. Over the past two seasons accounting for 29.5 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, and four interceptions.

Big 10: Tommy Eichenberg, Ohio State: A team looking to upgrade their run defense will want to take a close look at Ohio State linebacker Tommy Eichenberg. Eichenberg shows outstanding discipline in the run game and misses very few tackles.

Big 12: Jaylan Ford, Texas: While teams that are looking for your classic middle linebacker will want Tommy Eichenberg, teams that want more of a coverage linebacker will like Jaylan Ford. In coverage, Ford shows good awareness and the speed to play sideline to sideline.

Pac 12: Edefuan Ulofoshio, Washington: Speaking of good coverage linebackers another player who fits that mold is Washington’s Edefuan Ulofoshio. In fact, he was the highest-graded linebacker in coverage according to Pro Football Focus last season.

SEC: Trevin Wallace, Kentucky: Wallace is one of the better athletes in this class. At the NFL Combine, he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.51 seconds and also posted a 380-pound power clean.

Non-Power Five: Jackson Mitchell, UConn: One of the more productive linebackers in the 2024 NFL Draft is UConn’s Jackson Mitchell who has 438 career tackles. Despite this he didn’t receive an invite to the NFL Combine and at best will be a late-round draft pick.
