The New York Giants are already off to a strong offseason after landing the top coach on the market in John Harbaugh. That move, combined with the fact that they already have several outstanding young players in Jaxson Dart, Malik Nabers, and Cam Skattebo, gives the franchise real momentum heading into 2026.

That said, coaching alone is not enough. If the Giants want to make the kind of rebound the Chicago Bears made after landing Ben Johnson, the top coach on the market last year, they are going to need real roster upgrades. Positions like right tackle, wide receiver, and cornerback still need attention. Here are five players the Giants are likely to consider in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Spencer Fano, OT, Utah

John Harbaugh wants to run the football. That is not changing. With Cam Skattebo as a physical downhill runner and the possibility of losing Jermaine Eluemunor in free agency, right tackle becomes a priority. Spencer Fano is the best tackle on the board and a natural right tackle who played the position at Utah. The Outland Trophy winner is technically sound, strong at the point of attack, and athletic enough to climb to the second level. Spending a top-five pick on a right tackle is not flashy, but if Fano reaches his All-Pro ceiling he will be well worth the pick.

Makai Lemon, WR, USC

If the Giants do what ESPN is projecting and trade down in the draft, Makai Lemon becomes a very real option. Lemon is the most natural slot receiver in the 2026 NFL Draft and would be an ideal replacement for Wan’Dale Robinson if the team is unable to re-sign him. This past season, Lemon was unstoppable at times, catching 79 passes for 1,156 yards, the most among Power Four wide receivers. At the NFL level, his ability to consistently create separation, his reliable hands that resulted in just two drops all season, and his toughness after the catch make him an excellent complement to Malik Nabers.

Lee Hunter, DT, Texas Tech

One position the Giants must address on the defensive side of the ball is defensive tackle. Last season they allowed a league-worst 5.35 yards per carry, and a large portion of that damage came on inside runs. Texas Tech’s Lee Hunter is a massive 330-pound defensive tackle who excels at clogging running lanes and holding his ground at the point of attack. The Giants could likely target him on Day Two, which would make him an excellent value pick given their need to get tougher inside.

Davison Igbinosun, CB, Ohio State

While cornerback may be a bigger priority on defense, the Giants could find better value at the position on Day Three of the 2026 NFL Draft. Regardless of when they address it, there is no question it needs attention after Deonte Banks and Paulson Adebo both struggled this season. Ohio State’s Davison Igbinosun is a big, physical corner at 6-foot-2, 195 pounds, coming off an impressive year. He allowed just 48 percent of the passes thrown his way to be completed and earned an 81.0 PFF coverage grade, making him a good developmental option.

Ar'maj Reed-Adams, OG, Texas A&M

Along with addressing offensive tackle, look for the Giants to use at least one pick on the interior offensive line. Greg Van Roten is set to be a free agent, and even if he returns, he is already 35 years old. Ar’maj Reed-Adams is a player I previously linked to the Ravens when John Harbaugh was still the coach, and he remains a strong fit for a Harbaugh offense. The Second Team All-American is a powerful interior lineman who consistently opens running lanes and also holds up well in pass protection, having allowed just two sacks over the past two seasons.
