Florida State is coming off one of the most disappointing seasons in college football history, finishing with just two wins after a 13-1 record in 2023. A major factor in their struggles was an offense that couldn't find its rhythm, averaging only 15 points per game, which ranked 130th in the nation.
Fortunately for FSU, they won’t lose much in the 2025 NFL Draft, as only two players have a consensus draftable grade according to NFL Mock Draft Database. The Seminoles also added significant talent in the transfer portal this season, with the highest draft prospect being wide receiver Duce Robinson. Standing at 6-6 and 220 pounds, Robinson will be one of the larger wide receivers in the 2026 NFL Draft.
In total, FSU has five players entering the season with draftable grades, and players like former Boston College quarterback Tommy Castellanos could easily earn a draftable grade next season. This influx of talent should help Florida State bounce back this year and at least make a bowl game.
Florida State 2026 NFL Draft Prospects
Darrell Jackson, 6-5 330, DT
Preseason NFL Draft Grade: 3rd round
Florida State defensive tackle Darrell Jackson was initially set to enter the 2025 NFL Draft but ultimately decided to return for another season. Heading into the year, he holds a third-round draft grade, thanks to his impressive strength, which allows him to consistently clog running lanes. Jackson also possesses a quick first step and moves well for a 330-pound lineman. One area of improvement for him will be maintaining a high level of intensity on every snap.
Duce Robinson, 6-6 220, WR
Preseason NFL Draft Grade: 4th round
Florida State added a significant weapon to its receiving corps with the transfer of Duce Robinson from USC. While he started only five games in two seasons and never posted elite production, his physical traits make him an intriguing NFL prospect. At 6-foot-6 and 220 pounds, Robinson possesses rare size for a receiver and moves well for his frame. He has been a big-play threat, scoring five touchdowns on just 23 receptions last season, and in 2023, he ranked fifth nationally with 21.1 yards per catch. However, scouts have concerns about his lack of top-end speed and his physicality at the catch point, as he caught just 33% of passes in tight coverage.

Quindarrius Jones, 6-2 190, CB
Preseason NFL Draft Grade: 6th round
Cornerback Quindarrius Jones is a player to watch this season as Florida State looks to replace its top three cornerbacks from last year. Though his playing time was limited, he started the final three games of the season and allowed just two receptions during that span. Scouts will be drawn to his 6-foot-2, 190-pound frame, which he uses effectively to challenge receivers at the line of scrimmage. However, a concern with his game is his tight hips, which can hinder his ability to turn and run with receivers. Because of this, his best fit at the next level might be at safety.
James Williams, 6-6 250, DE
Preseason NFL Draft Grade: 7th round
Williams joins FSU from Nebraska, reuniting with new Seminoles defensive coordinator Tony White. Although his playing time with the Huskers was limited—recording seven or fewer snaps in seven games—he maximized his opportunities, tallying five sacks and 31 pressures on the season. With an expanded role this year, he has a chance to further showcase his talent and boost his NFL Draft stock.
Shyheim Brown, 6-2 208, S
Preseason NFL Draft Grade: 7th round
A special teams standout in the 2026 NFL Draft is safety Shyheim Brown, who has blocked three field goals during his Seminole career and an impressive six kicks in high school, a skill that will undoubtedly catch the attention of NFL special teams coaches. As a defender, Brown has good size and experience playing both free and strong safety, but to improve his draft stock beyond a late-round pick, he needs to finish blocks more effectively and post a strong 40-yard dash time.
