No. 2: Ja’Marr Chase – No. 5 Overall 2021 NFL Draft (Cincinnati Bengals)

A talented route runner and extreme playmaker, Ja’Marr Chase has been just as good as Jefferson at the NFL level.  The only thing separating the two at this point is that Chase gets to play with Joe Burrow, and he has helped lead his team to the Super Bowl, something Jefferson has not done yet.

Selected with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals, Chase is the highest drafted receiver on this list.  He entered the league known for his explosive playmaking and ability to track the ball downfield.  Like Jefferson, Chase has yet to have a season with less than 1,000 yards receiving.  His best season came in 2024 when he caught 127 passes for 1,708 yards and a whopping 17 touchdowns.

The NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year winner in 2021, Chase has been a Pro Bowler in each of his first four seasons and has two All-Pro nods.  After inking a massive contract extension, it looks like Chase is primed to dominate as a receiver for years to come in the NFL.
