  • Buffalo Bills

Buffalo was one of the worst run defenses in football throughout 2025, so getting McDonald would be a huge boost to that area. He can aid their pass rush as well if his tools develop, and would at the very least be a plug-and-play starter against run sets.

  • Houston Texans

The Texans could look at a few different defensive tackles at 28th overall, but McDonald is probably the best one. They need a mauler against the run on their interior defensive line to fully complete their defense, and the Ohio State product is the premier option with that skillset.

  • Chicago Bears

Gervon Dexter has been Chicago's pass-rushing defensive tackle, but they still need a stalwart to defend the run. McDonald gives them exactly that, with their EDGE group being skilled enough to simply let the former Buckeye do what he does best.
