The 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh is right around the corner, with 16 total prospects slated to attend the festivities.

It's always a special moment to see the players hold up their new jersey for the first time and make their way to the stage, and this year will be no different. With all 16 prospects expected to be taken on Day 1, here are a few different teams they could each end up with:

QB Ty Simpson, Alabama

  • Arizona Cardinals

Arizona has remained the far and away favorite to secure the rights to Alabama's signal caller, with many speculating that they may make a move into the first round to land him. Getting his 5th-year option would make him that much more valuable for them, and they remain the most likely destination unless things change rapidly.

  • New York Jets

If any team were to try to jump Arizona, it might just be the Jets. They are expected to target supporting cast reinforcements with their first two selections, but could swing back up into the 1st round to take Simpson, or even pick him with their early 2nd rounder. New York remains in the quarterback market, and they might deem it more advantageous to take one this year rather than waiting until 2027.

  • Miami Dolphins

Early reports are that Miami views recently signed Malik Willis as their long-term solution at QB, but his deal isn't structured in a way that would guarantee that. If there's any indication that he may depart after just one season, or even just if the Dolphins' brass gets cold feet about it, they could use their 2nd Day 1 pick on Simpson as their potential franchise QB down the line.
