Where will the top Georgia Bulldogs prospects land in the 2025 NFL Draft?
The 2024 SEC champions have 17 players who declared for the draft, including 9 players ranked on the 2025 NFL Draft bib board which features top prospect Malaki Starks, Jalon Walker and Mykel Williams. One notable player not on that list is quarterback Carson Beck, who not only decided to return to school but transferred to the University of Miami.
Georgia Bulldogs well represented in the 2025 NFL Draft
Still, Georgia has some notable players who should step in and help NFL teams immediately like Brock Bowers did with the Las Vegas Raiders and Ladd McConkey with the Los Angeles Chargers. Both players headlined 12 players taken in that draft. Where will the top prospects land in this year’s draft?
Here’s a look at the best destinations for the top Bulldogs prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Malaki Starks, S – Miami Dolphins
After losing Jevon Holland in free agency to the New York Giants, the Dolphins could replace him by selecting Malaki Starks with the No. 13 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. A versatile defensive back with outstanding size, Starks would bring explosiveness to the Dolphins secondary in his ability to cover and defend the run.

The only question is whether Starks worth taking as high at No. 13 or is he a player the Dolphins can draft on Day 2 if he falls out of the first round.
Jalon Walker, LB – Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons need an explosive player who can get after the quarterback and Jalon Walker would be perfect. With an explosive first step and high motor, the versatility of Walker would give the Falcons some much needed speed and athleticism on the defensive side of the ball. Although he is on the smaller side to be an edge rusher full-time, his off-ball linebacker skills make him a versatile defender the Falcons can use in different ways. Walker could go top 10, but he would be ideal for the Falcons at No. 15.
Mykel Williams, DE – Buffalo Bills
At 6-foot-5, 265 pounds, Mykel Williams will be on the radar of many teams drafting late in the first round. One team that comes to mind are the Buffalo Bills. Despite signing Joey Bosa to a one-year deal, the Bills will still look to add to their defensive line, especially after releasing veteran sack-master Von Miller. Williams, who recorded 5 sacks in 2024 with Georgia, is a powerful defender who can play anyway along the line. His high motor in getting after the passer and defending the run makes him a prime prospect for a Bills team looking to reload on defense.

Tate Ratledge, OG – Detroit Lions
As the second ranked guard entering the draft behind Alabama’s Tyler Booker, 6-foot-6, 308-pound guard Tate Ratledge would be a solid selection for the Detroit Lions on Day 2 of the draft. With extreme power as a blocker, Ratledge would fill the Lions right guard void. His ability to win pad level battles, communication along the line and pass protection will help protect Jared Goff and also open lanes for Jahmyr Gibbs.
Jared Wilson, C– Miami Dolphins
One of the top center prospects entering the draft, Jared Wilson would be a nice fit for the Miami Dolphins. The team does have Aaron Brewer as their starting center, but they will be smart to add depth in selecting a player like Wilson who could eventually replace Brewer who will be in the second year of a 3-year contract signed in 2024. With his size and lateral agility, Wilson will be a starting center in the NFL, why not Miami?
Smael Mondon Jr., LB
Teams looking for athletic, versatile linebackers late in the draft will love Smael Mondon Jr. With great size for a linebacker and range as a defender, Mondon would be a nice depth-piece selection for a team like the 49ers who lost Dre Greenlaw in free agency. They will likely fill the void with a veteran or selecting a linebacker higher in the draft, but that doesn’t mean they won’t take a shot at another linebacker later in the draft. Mondon Jr. racked up 29 solo tackles and 3 sacks in his final year at Georgia.
Dylan Fairchild, OG – New England Patriots
As a mid-to-later round pick, Dylan Fairchild would be a nice depth piece for the New England Patriots. As a team looking to revamp the offensive line, particularly at tackle, the Patriots will draft a guard or two in this draft and the 6-foot-5, 318-pound Fairchild would give them some interior line depth.

His mobility on screens and overall toughness as a blocker in space would certainly help a young quarterback like Drake Maye. In New England, Fairchild could push guards Cole Strange and Layden Robinson for snaps.
Trevor Etienne, RB – New England Patriots
A small running back who can run between the tackles, Trevor Etienne would be a late-round prize for a team like the Patriots. As a scat back who can catch the ball out of the backfield, Etienne would give the Patriots that third-down back they cherish. If you think about players like James White, Dion Lewis, Shane Vereen and Kevin Faulk, the Patriots have been missing that type of back over the last couple years. With Josh McDaniels back in the mix, it would be a perfect time to add a pass-catching running back to Maye’s arsenal.
Arian Smith, WR – Buffalo Bills
Why not give Josh Allen another weapon in Arian Smith who is the type of big-play receiver who could flourish catching the ball a quarterback with a big arm. With his elite speed, Smith is not only a deep ball threat, but dangerous on jet sweeps and in the open field. In 2024, Smith caught 48 receptions for 817 and 4 touchdowns with the Bulldogs, which was his highest producing season at Georgia. That is a reason he isn’t ranked higher on the draft board. It also means he could be a find late in the draft for a team like the Bills.
