No. 26 New York Giants: A’Mauri Washington, DL, Oregon

The Giants have their young stud linebackers, Abdul Carter and Arvell Reese, flying around the field and making plays. Adding A’Mauri Washington as an anchor in the middle of the defensive line will just make those players more impactful.

No. 27 Jacksonville Jaguars: Jadan Baugh, RB, Florida

As with previous mock drafts, Jadan Baugh to the Jaguars makes too much sense.

Although Baugh has been limited the last couple of games, he is still the top running back in the draft. With his ability to take it to the house anytime he touches the ball, Baugh gives the Jaguars more explosiveness in the running game, which only makes Trevor Lawrence that much more dangerous as a passer.

No. 28 Buffalo Bills: KJ Bolden, S, Georgia

KJ Bolden is the first safety off the board, which serves as a steal for the Buffalo Bills at No. 28.

With Josh Allen on the other side of the ball, the Bills’ offense always finds a way to score points. The team just needs the defense to limit the opposing team’s offense.

Bolden is a playmaker who makes his presence known all over the field and would be a key piece in strengthening the Bills' defense.

No. 29 Baltimore Ravens: Greg Johnson, IOL, Minnesota

The Ravens secure instant help along the interior of the offensive line by making Minnesota’s Greg Johnson the first guard off the board in the draft.

The versatile offensive lineman has only allowed one pressure in 202 opportunities in 2026 and is just what Lamar Jackson needs to give him more time in the pocket.

Johnson is also tremendous in run protection, which will help fuel the Ravens’ running attack.

No. 30 Minnesota Vikings: Austin Simmons, QB, Missouri

Missouri star Austin Simmons leaps into the first round as the QB selection of the Minnesota Vikings.

At 6-foot-4, 220 pounds, he has great size at the quarterback position and is showcasing outstanding play so far at Missouri.

As a quarterback emerging as one of the top prospects in the nation, the Vikings get a quarterback who could start from Day 1 for a Vikings team currently getting it done with Kyler Murray under center and a stout defense.

No. 31 Kansas City Chiefs: Trevor Lauck, OT, Iowa

With Jayon Moore’s contract expiring at the end of the 2026 NFL season, the Chiefs select a tackle with the No. 31 overall pick to ensure they have a succession plan in place.

They could still have that in Joshua Simmons, but so far, his future at the position has been sidelined by injuries.

In selecting Trevor Lauck, the Chiefs have a player who can protect Mahomes’ blindside if Simmons doesn’t pan out or at least be the team’s right tackle.

No. 32 Miami Dolphins via trade with 49ers: Julian Sayin, QB, Ohio State

The Dolphins send their high second-round pick and a 2028 mid-round pick to move up a couple of spots to add Julian Sayin.

With Trinidad Chambliss still on the board, there is a chance the Dolphins don’t need to trade up to select a QB, but to make sure they get the man they want to throw the ball to their top pick, Jeremiah Smith, the Dolphins only sacrifice a future mid-round pick.

In selecting Sayin, the Dolphins can still stick with Willis and allow the young QB to develop.

In selecting Sayin, the Dolphins can still stick with Willis and allow the young QB to develop. Obviously, with both Sayin and Jeremiah Smith’s connection at Ohio State, it allows both young players an opportunity to continue their connection and chemistry at the NFL level.
