2027 NFL Mock Draft: Browns gamble on Dante Moore as Jets reload
No. 9 Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Dylan Stewart, EDGE, South Carolina
The Buccaneers land another top pass rusher with the selection of Dylan Stewart. While 2026 first-round pick Rueben Bain Jr. has struggled to start his NFL career, he still has tremendous upside. Adding another elite talent off the edge like Stewart sets the Buccaneers up for something special and lethal in the front seven. That's especially true with 2026 second-round pick Josiah Trotter also making his presence felt at the linebacker position.
No. 10 New Orleans Saints: Ashton Hampton, CB, Clemson
Ashton Hampton remains the pick for the New Orleans Saints. This week, he lands with them at No. 10. The Clemson star corner will have an opportunity to increase his draft stock in a big matchup Saturday when he goes up against Florida State's Duce Robinson in an intriguing ACC matchup. A big performance could solidify Hampton as a top-10 talent.
No. 11 New York Jets: Will Echoles, DL, Mississippi
The Jets need a force in the middle of the defensive line, and Ole Miss star Will Echoles is the guy. With his massive size (6-foot-3, 315 pounds) and explosive first step off the snap, Echoles is a disruptor in the middle of the line who not only causes havoc in the run game but quickly collapses the pocket in his pursuit of the quarterback. With David Bailey already excelling off the edge, the addition of Echoles opens more lanes and opportunities for Bailey and Will McDonald IV to wreak havoc.
No. 12 New York Jets (via Dallas): Ellis Robinson IV, CB, Georgia
The Georgia star is a favorite pick for the Jets at this spot. In selecting Ellis Robinson IV, the Jets get star potential at the cornerback position. At 6-foot-0, 180 pounds, he has the size and press-man ability to build his own defensive island in New York. With this pick, the Jets take care of all three of their biggest needs in the first 12 selections.
No. 13 Las Vegas Raiders: Charlie Becker, WR, Indiana
In a reunion we teased in this week's NFL Draft Notebook, the Raiders get Fernando Mendoza a weapon he is very familiar with in selecting Charlie Becker with the No. 13 overall pick. Becker should go in the top 10, but given the needs of teams ahead of them, he falls right into their laps. The Raiders land the WR1 they are looking for, especially with the chemistry Becker already has with Mendoza.
No. 14 Cleveland Browns (via Los Angeles Rams): Dante Moore, QB, Oregon
Some may have Dante Moore falling out of the first round completely due to him being shut down for the remainder of the 2026 season, but his first-round talent will be hard to ignore. That's especially true for a team like the Browns selecting in the middle of the first round. Moore could still return to Oregon in 2027, but after forgoing the 2026 draft, his best option may be to take his talents to the NFL. The Browns are a great situation for Moore because they have the playmakers in place, and with Deshaun Watson's reemergence, Moore wouldn't have too much pressure to step in right away.

No. 15 Atlanta Falcons: Nick Marsh, WR, Indiana
This may be the surprise pick in the middle of the first round, especially with Cam Coleman still on the board. But if we are going off performance so far in the 2026 season, Indiana's Nick Marsh is rising and is the WR2 the Falcons are seeking. In a breakout season, Marsh has 34 receptions for 610 yards and seven touchdowns while showcasing his contested-catch ability and downfield explosive playmaking. His physicality and versatility in the passing game would make the Falcons' offensive attack even more dynamic.
No. 16 Baltimore Ravens: Kelley Jones, CB, Mississippi State
It's time to move on from Marlon Humphrey in Baltimore. The Ravens do just that with the selection of Kelley Jones with the No. 16 overall pick. With Nate Wiggins holding down the top corner spot for years to come, the addition of Jones gives them a high-level CB2 and, most importantly, youth at the position as a boundary corner with great size and physical aggressiveness in coverage.
