2027 NFL Mock Draft: Jets complete their first-round haul as Arch Manning finds a home

No. 10 New York Jets via Dallas: Chris Cole, LB, Georgia

The Jets land the top linebacker in the draft in Georgia's Chris Cole to round out the top 10. Talk about winning a draft. The Jets get three anchors at key positions who can lead the franchise into the future. Depending on how they continue to upgrade the roster at other key positions through the rest of the draft, this draft class has A+ written all over it.

No. 11 Arizona Cardinals: Arch Manning, QB, Texas

The Cardinals don't let Arch Manning slip too far in this draft. The Texas quarterback has the talent to be QB1 in this draft, but inconsistency has drawn a lot of doubt. Manning still has some time to turn doubters into believers, but as far as his talent and what he's capable of, the Cardinals take him off the board just outside the top 10.

No. 12 Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Ellis Robinson IV, CB, Georgia

Another Georgia defender comes off the board at No. 12. The Buccaneers make Ellis Robinson IV their choice as they believe they've finally found their shutdown corner of the future.

No. 13 Atlanta Falcons: Trevor Goosby, OT, Texas

The Falcons are a team that could be back in the hunt for a quarterback as the jury is still out on Michael Penix Jr. For now, the Falcons find their upgrade at tackle by landing who some believe is the top tackle in the draft in Trevor Goosby. Big, powerful and agile, Goosby has all the tools to be the Jake Matthews successor the team is looking for. Until he gets his opportunity, he secures the starting right tackle role.

No. 14 Baltimore Ravens: Ashton Hampton, CB, Clemson

The Ravens have roster issues at many key spots. One of the areas they must address first is cornerback. In taking Clemson's Ashton Hampton, they move on from aging veteran Marlon Humphrey and put together a young duo in Hampton and third-year corner Nate Wiggins to anchor the secondary. Both players just happen to be out of Clemson.

No. 15 Las Vegas Raiders: Will Echoles, DL, Ole Miss

Many Raiders fans will want the team to go wide receiver with this pick, but with Becker off the board, Vegas bets big on one of the most impactful interior linemen in the draft in Ole Miss star Will Echoles.

No. 16 Cleveland Browns (via Los Angeles Rams): Xavier Gilliam, DL, Tennessee

The Browns use the pick acquired in the Myles Garrett deal to add another defensive lineman to the mix in Tennessee's Xavier Gilliam. As one of the hottest defenders in the nation, Gilliam's stock has been rising. This could be a steal for the Browns at this spot as he is starting to look like a fringe top-10 player.
