2027 NFL Mock Draft: Jets reload as Dante Moore lands in the top 10

No. 9 New York Jets (via Colts): Ellis Robinson IV, CB, Georgia

The Jets draft their potential franchise quarterback with the No. 6 overall pick and grab their potential franchise cornerback at No. 9 with the selection of Ellis Robinson IV out of Georgia.

Ironically, this is the pick the Jets acquired in the deal for Sauce Gardner. The secondary obviously hasn’t been as hyped since the trade, but selecting Robinson IV will give them that player in the secondary who can take out the opposing team’s top offensive weapon.

He will also give the defensive backfield some identity as he is an elite press-man boundary defender.

No. 10 Arizona Cardinals: Dante Moore, QB, Oregon

The Cardinals make Dante Moore the fourth quarterback off the board to round out the top 10.

While Moore has fallen off the radar in recent weeks, mostly due to not playing because of a concussion, I think there is still plenty of football left for the Oregon star to re-establish himself as one of the elite quarterbacks in this draft class.

There will be doubts that cause him to fall nearly out of the top 10, but a team like the Cardinals can’t afford to pass up the talent he would bring to Mike LaFleur’s offense.

No. 11 Tennessee Titans (via trade with Browns): Dylan Stewart, EDGE, South Carolina

The Titans trading back in the deal with the Cleveland Browns to add additional draft capital allows the team to add more top talent on both sides of the ball.

With their first pick, they select Dylan Stewart out of South Carolina, an elite pass rusher they can add to the edge rotation of Jermaine Johnson and 2026 NFL Draft first-round pick Keldric Faulk.

No. 12 New Orleans Saints: Ashton Hampton, CB, Clemson

The Saints had their eye on Dylan Stewart, but with him off the board, they select Clemson cornerback Ashton Hampton.

At 6-foot-2, 205 pounds, Hampton’s lockdown corner ability is a fit in Brandon Staley’s defense and gives them an elite CB pairing with Kool-Aid McKinstry holding it down on the other side.

With his ball-hawking, aggressive style of play, Hampton would elevate the Saints’ secondary from Day 1.

No. 13 New York Jets: Will Echoles, DL, Mississippi

The Jets use their third first-round pick to address the interior of their defensive line.

In taking Will Echoles, the Jets add more power and talent along the defensive line with this 6-foot-3, 310-pound force in the interior.

After trading away Quinnen Williams, the Jets left themselves vulnerable in the middle of the line. Echoles fills that void given his explosiveness off the snap and ability to demand attention that will free up David Bailey and Will McDonald IV off the edge.

No. 14 Atlanta Falcons: Jordan Seaton, OT, LSU

Jordan Seaton slides to the Atlanta Falcons at No. 14 in the 2027 NFL Draft.

As an athletic, mobile tackle, Seaton is a great fit for Tommy Rees' offense given his ability to get out to the second level as a blocker, especially with a running back like Bijan Robinson in the backfield.

Seaton is also elite at pass blocking and can be utilized at either tackle position.

No. 15 Las Vegas Raiders: Cam Coleman, WR, Texas

No shade to Tre Tucker, but the Raiders have a missing piece in the offense at WR1.

Cam Coleman could be that missing piece as an X-receiver in the deep passing game. At 6-foot-3, 204 pounds, Coleman has great size and tremendous athleticism to make the Raiders’ passing attack lethal with Tucker and the tight end duo of Brock Bowers and Michael Mayer on the field.

The only question will be whether he can ignite chemistry with Fernando Mendoza.

No. 16 Seattle Seahawks: Yhonzae Pierre, EDGE, Alabama

Yhonzae Pierre fits the mold of what the Seahawks like in their outside linebacker defenders.

At 6-foot-3, 253 pounds, he has the length, speed and discipline to excel in a Mike Macdonald defense.

With his versatility and flexibility, Pierre is landing in a perfect situation in Seattle, especially in the middle of the first round.
