The top defensive tackles in the 2027 NFL Draft

1. David Stone, Oklahoma
David Stone was the first defensive tackle taken in two of the three mocks I referenced.
Here's what Reid had to say about Stone:
"The 6-foot-3, 310-pound Stone can play any spot up front. He's difficult to displace with his excellent play power and is capable of latching and disengaging from blockers with ease."
2. Ahmad Moten, Miami
Ahmad Moten was extremely productive for the very talented Miami front in 2025. He had 31 tackles, nine of them for a loss, and four and a half sacks.
Moten was the second defensive tackle taken on each of the mocks. And with two or more defensive tackles going in each of the previous four drafts, Moten is clearly inside the bubble at this point of the process.
3. A'Mauri Washington, Oregon
A'Mauri Washington was one of several Oregon players to return to school for the 2026 season.
Listed at 6'3 and 320 pounds, Washington is a very stout and solid player with quick initial burst off the line.
When he's able to get a step on the offensive lineman, he gets into the backfield in a hurry, even if the lineman is still hanging on.
