Pittsburgh is in a similar quarterback situation to the Cardinals (veteran on a one-year deal, and a third-round rookie behind him), but the rest of the franchise is what's putting them in this category.

With a veteran head coach and roster, Pittsburgh has positioned itself in more of a "win-now" phase, as opposed to Arizona, with a younger head coach and roster. And despite having just one additional win over the Cardinals, at this time we still expect to see Pittsburgh outside of the top ten of the draft, while Arizona is inside the top five.

However, if Drew Allar gets a chance to play and is uninspiring, or Pittsburgh finds itself at the top of the draft order, the Steelers could definitely end up taking a quarterback early.

In Miami, Malik Willis hasn't been bad enough to say they should move on from him in 2027. At just 27 years old, with the franchise still so early in this new regime, Miami could play the long game and pass on a quarterback in the first round. Especially if they have the opportunity to draft Jeremiah Smith.

Could the Titans already be questioning Cam Ward?

Tennessee is the other big change this month. Before the season, I had them in the "not considering a quarterback" group. And as of now, they still probably are confident in Cam Ward. But Ward and the offense are struggling just enough to start the season that if they were to be picking at the top of the draft, they could at least consider going in a new direction.

Ultimately, I'd expect them to give it one more year with Ward as they build around him, but if things trend in an even worse direction, starting over at quarterback is a possibility.

With 14 teams facing different levels of quarterback uncertainty, the next question is where the top prospects might actually land.
