A big question in this draft will be whether Ty Simpson will be the second quarterback taken in the first round and if so, how high.  The Jets’ gamble in not taking Simpson No. 2 overall pays off as he does slide to them at No. 16.  There are a couple of teams selecting a head of them who could shake the board by taking Simpson, but ultimately, he does end up with the Jets who will hope he has similar success as a middle-to-late first round pick as Jaxson Dart had with their crosstown rivals, the New York Giants.

No. 16: New York Jets via Indianapolis Colts – Ty Simpson, QB, Alabama

No. 17: Detroit Lions – T.J. Parker, ED, Clemson

No. 18: Minnesota Vikings– Avieon Terrell, CB, Clemson

No. 19: Carolina Panthers– Francis Mauigoa, T, Miami (FL)

No. 20: Dallas Cowboys via Green Bay – Colton Hood, CB, Tennessee
