2026 NFL Mock Draft 6-10: Raiders, Browns land top quarterback talent

LaNorris Sellers, Ty Simpson go in the top 10 of 2026 NFL Mock Draft

No. 6: Las Vegas Raiders – Ty Simpson, QB, Alabama

Alabama’s Ty Simpson falls to the Las Vegas Raiders with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.  As one of the hottest quarterbacks in the nation, the Raiders take a shot at Simpson as their quarterback of the future.  Simpson’s quick release, accuracy and arm strength makes him a great fit for the Raiders’ offense.  He does lack experience as a starting quarterback but playing a season or perhaps just a half season behind Geno Smith will help him grown and learn at the NFL level.

No. 7: Cleveland Browns – LaNorris Sellers, QB, South Carolina

The fourth quarterback off the board is South Carolina’s LaNorris Sellers.  Love this pick for the Cleveland Browns because he has the capability to give the team what they thought they had when they traded for Deshaun Watson.  When healthy and at his best, Sellers is the top quarterback in this draft as far as pure talent.  Can the Browns get that level of play out of him is the question.  With his dual-threat capability and the young core the Browns are building on both sides of the ball, Sellers might just be the missing piece to the puzzle of the future.

No. 8: Washington Commanders – Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State

The Commanders take the best available player in Caleb Downs.  The Ohio State safety is the top defensive back in the draft and will immediately make the Commanders’ defense stronger.  As a team that has taken a step back so far this season, they will be rewarded with a top 10 pick and a franchise type player in Downs who makes plays all over the field.

No. 9: Cincinnati Bengals– T.J. Parker, ED, Clemson

The Bengals did not trade Trey Hendrickson at the NFL Trade Deadline, but there’s still a strong possibility the two sides part ways in 2026.  That will lead the Bengals to selecting Clemson’s T.J. Parker who is simply the type of ball-disrupter the Bengals.  With a high motor and scheme versatility, the 6-foot-3, 265-pound edge rusher will make Bengals fans feel better about losing Hendrickson.

No. 10: Baltimore Ravens– Arvell Resse, LB, Ohio State

The Ravens have a couple of needs on defense and Ohio State’s Arvell Reese fills a couple of those needs.  As a linebacker with explosive speed and extreme athleticism, Reese in a Ravens’ uniform could be lethal.  With his ability to rush the quarterback as well as his elite level of play against the rush, Reese is the type of instant impact defensive player the Ravens are looking for.
