2026 NFL Draft No. 26-32: Seventh QB goes late in the first round

No. 26: Los Angeles Chargers – Caleb Banks, DL, Florida
The Chargers address the interior of their defensive line with the selection of Caleb Banks. The second Gators player off the board, Banks is both physical and versatile in his ability to anchor the middle of the defensive line. Under Jim Harbaugh he could turn into an instant game wrecker for the Chargers.
No. 27: Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Domonique Orange, DL, Iowa State
The Buccaneers add talent to their defensive line with the selection of Domonique Orange. The Bucs have other needs they can address at this spot, but at 6-foot-4, 325 pounds, Tampa Bay won’t be able to resist the power and athleticism Orange brings to the defensive line. He also has the perfect name to play in a Buccaneers’ uniform.
No. 28: San Francisco 49ers– Isaiah World, T, Oregon
In a selection that won’t shock the NFL world, the San Francisco 49ers select Isaiah World. This 6-foot-8, 313-pound tackle has all the ingredients to be dominant in the NFL. With Trent Williams getting up there in age, this is the perfect opportunity for the 49ers to draft his replacement.
No. 29: Cincinnati Bengals – Christen Miller, DL, Georgia
The Bengals continue to build on defense. With the No. 29 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, they go with defensive lineman Christen Miller. The Georgia star has an explosive first step given his size (6-foot-4, 305 pounds) and a force against the run game which will be ideal playing in the AFC North.
No. 30: Philadelphia Eagles – Gennings Dunker, T, Iowa
Gennings Dunker is the sixth tackle to go in the first round as he is selected by the Philadelphia Eagles. Great in both pass protection and run blocking, Dunker could be a slam dunk for the Eagles who will at the very least add depth behind Lane Johnson at right tackle and an eventual starter on the line, maybe left tackle.
No. 31: Indianapolis Colts – Sam Leavitt, QB, Arizona State
The Colts are in an interesting position through the first two weeks of the 2025 NFL season. With Daniel Jones looking like the second coming of Bake Mayfield as far as NFL Draft redemption, could the Colts still be in the mix for a QB in the 2026 NFL Draft. With the unpredictability and unreliability of both Jones and Anthony Richardson, the answer is yes as they select Arizona State’s Sam Leavitt to compete for the role in 2026.
No. 32: Dallas Cowboys via Green Bay – Davis Bailey, ED, Texas Tech
This will be known as one of the Micah Parsons picks. The Cowboys use the No. 32 overall pick on Texas Tech’s Davis Bailey. No one will replace the production of Parsons, but Bailey is a scheme versatile, athletic defender who could evolve at the next level and be a devastating pass rusher off the edge.He already has 2.5 sacks through 3 game
