No. 6: Chicago Bears – Spencer Fano, T, Utah

The Bears made moves in the offseason to improve the offensive line, but how could they pass up the opportunity to solidify their tackle position for years to come.  In selecting Utah’s Spencer Fano with the No. 6 overall pick, the Bears get a massive tackle who is not only a highly touted pass protector at either left or right tackle, but powerful in the run game.  With Parker off the board, the Bears continue to solidify their offensive line with this top 10 pick.

No. 7: New York Giants – Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State

The Giants go with the best player available with the selection of safety Caleb Downs.  Described as a generational talent in anchoring Ohio State’s secondary, Downs will have a chance to be the defensive backfield star for the Giants and help compliment the team’s strong front seven.  With a top 10 pick, the Giants could look to go offense here, but like Abdul Carter in the 2025 NFL Draft, won’t miss an opportunity of getting a talented defensive back like Downs.

No. 8: Kansas City Chiefs – Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State

No one expects the Chiefs to be selecting in the top 10 of the 2026 NFL Draft unless something happens to Patrick Mahomes.  But, as it stands, they would have the No. 8 pick and uses that pick on Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson.  Through the first three games of the season, Tyson has 24 receptions for 314 yards and 4 touchdowns and is on pace to surpass his 1,000-yard season a year ago.  With his combination of size and speed, he is the ideal target for Mahomes or any NFL quarterback for that matter.

No. 9: Carolina Panthers– Rueben Bain Jr., ED, Miami U

The Panthers select the second edge rusher off the board with the selection of Ruebin Bain Jr.  Carolina is off to an 0-2 start mostly due to a slow start by the offense, but here is an opportunity to add a defensive start to the mix off the edge.  They secure that with Bain, who is relentless in his pursuit to the quarterback.

No. 10: Houston Texans – Kadyn Proctor, T, Alabama

The Texans get their future tackle with the selection of Alabama’s Kadyn Proctor with the No. 10 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.  A massive force at 6-foot-7, 369 pounds, Proctor’s intelligence as a pass protector stands out along with his athleticism and power he possesses in run blocking.  An ideal fit in Houston.
