2026 NFL Mock Draft 16-20: Buccaneers land top tight end, Steelers take a chance at QB

No. 16: Carolina Panthers – Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State
The Panthers have been playing better as of late. With positional needs like interior offensive line and wide receiver to address also in this draft, the Panthers go defense with the No. 16 overall pick. With the selection of Ohio State linebacker Sonny Styles, they get an athletic linebacker with great coverage skills and a player who plays the game with physicality. A team looking for an identity on defense lands a player who can give them just that.
No. 17: Houston Texans – Francis Mauigoa, T, Miami (FL)
The Texas biggest need is the offensive line, and they take care of that with the selection of tackle Francis Mauigoa with the No. 17 overall pick in the draft. At 6-foot-6, 315 pounds, Mauigoa is one of the top tackles in the draft due to his power, athletic ability and pass blocking skillset. In 13 starts in 2025, Mauigoa has yet to allow a sack.
No. 18: Detroit Lions – Peter Woods, DL, Clemson
The Lions have a top need for an edge rusher and defensive tackle. They take care of both with the selection of Clemson’s Peter Woods who has the flexibility to hold down the interior of the defensive line and play edge. Given their position in this draft, Woods is an A+ selection given his overall talent and ceiling at the next level.
No. 19: Tampa Bay Buccaneers– Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Oregon
The Buccaneers add another weapon for Baker Mayfield. With the No. 19 overall pick, the Buccaneers select Oregon’s Kenyon Sadiq. Known for this athleticism and yards after the catch ability, Sadiq gives a loaded offense yet another player defenses will have to gameplan for. In helping lead Oregon to a 9-1 record, Sadiq has 30 receptions for 407 yards and 6 touchdowns on the season.
This pass is pure perfection from Dante Moore and Kenyon Sadiq 🤩

No. 20: Pittsburgh Steelers – LaNorris Sellers, QB, South Carolina
The question at this point for LaNorris Sellers is whether he should return to school for another year. Ultimately, he declares for the 2026 NFL Draft and still becomes a first-round pick as the Pittsburgh Steelers take a shot at talented, dual-threat quarterback. At 6-foot-3, 240 pounds, Sellers is a big quarterback with arm talent, toughness and can make plays outside the pocket. Given his injury history, he will be a high-risk selection, but also a high-reward option for the Steelers at the QB position.
