It’s just training camp and NFL Mocks already has its eyes on the 2026 NFL Draft.

With rookies from the 2025 NFL Draft class starting their journey in the NFL, it’s time to peek ahead to the top prospects of the 2026 draft who could change the landscape of the NFL.  With Arch Manning and Garrett Nussmeier standing out as two of the best quarterbacks in a deep class of signal callers, non-QB talent like Ohio State’s Caleb Downs and Notre Dame running back Jeremiah Love will create buzz throughout the upcoming season.

It's a way-too-early look, but this upcoming draft could shape up to be similar to the 2024 NFL Draft.

2026 NFL Mock Draft: Signal callers dominate Day 1

The 2026 NFL Draft QB class will prove to be the real deal with many landing in the top 10 of the draft.  Which NFL teams will find their franchise quarterbacks?  The draft order was determined by the Draft Kings Super Bowl odds.

Let’s get on the clock!

There is no guarantee Arch Manning declares for the 2026 NFL Draft, but if he does it will be due to him looking every much the part of the top quarterback in the 2026 NFL Draft class.  If the Saints are drafting at No. 1, it will mean either Tyler Shough or Spencer Rattler couldn’t solve the question at quarterback.  Even if either one of them shows promise, the Saints will be pressed to go QB with the top pick.  With his prototypical size and arm strength it will be a no-brainer.

The Browns current logjam at quarterback will mean nothing if the Browns are here selecting at No. 2.  Cleveland will dip into the QB talent and take Cade Klubnik with the No. 2 overall pick in the draft to compete with Shedeur Sanders for the starting job in 2026.  Sanders comes on strong towards the end of the 2025 NFL season, but the Browns will see an opportunity to use him as trade bait with Klubnik demonstrating his franchise QB potential.

The Jets will decide between Drew Allar, Carson Beck and Garrett Nussmeier, but will decide on Allar based on his rifle as an arm and size as a quarterback.  While recent drafts will prove the Jets can’t just depend on talent, the Jets will be intrigued by Allar’s work ethic and leadership.  Maybe, just maybe the Jets will finally get it right.

The Titans drafting at this position won’t be any reflection on Cam Ward.  The team will just come out on the short end of many close games.  While they could trade this pick to a team hungry for a quarterback, the Titans select the best player available in safety Caleb Downs.  Labeled as the most valuable safety in college football, Downs will make a solid Titans’ secondary even better, especially if this year’s third round pick, Kevin Winston Jr., proves to be the player he was before an ACL tear ended his college season in 2024.

The Giants’ decision not to go QB in this draft means they like what they have in Jaxson Dart. The team in this case decides to beef up the offensive line with the top-rated tackle according to PFF in Kadyn Proctor.  At 6-foot-7, 360 pounds, this man is huge and allowed just one pressure on 96 pass-blocking snaps.  With a blend of size and athleticism, Proctor is a sure bet Top 10 pick at this point.  With more growth ahead entering his junior year at Alabama, there will no surprise if he goes top 5.

The Panthers will be better on defense in 2025, but they will still be in search of a game-changing edge defender.  Look no further than Clemson’s T.J. Parker.  At 6-foot-3, 265 pounds, Parker is a powerhouse who excels as both a pass rusher and run defender.  He is coming off a sophomore season in which he punished opposing quarterbacks with 11 sacks.  He also impressed with 34 solo tackles and 6 forced fumbles.  Team him up with this year’s second-round pick Nic Scourton and the Panthers will have something special brewing.

The Colts will be in a situation where they can go with the best player available at No. 7 and they will go with Tennessee cornerback Jermod McCoy.  While cornerback is not a big need at this point for the Colts, by season’s end they could be looking to upgrade at the position.  In McCoy, they get that lockdown corner who has the talent to make life miserable for opposing quarterbacks in the AFC South.

The Raiders could go defense here, but there will be an opportunity to draft their quarterback of the future to play a season or two behind Geno Smith.  After a resurrection of sorts at Miami, Carson Beck will resurface as a top quarterback prospect.  The intrigue in this pick is it teams Beck up with former Georgia teammate Brock Bowers.  As the two terrorized the SEC, they will have an opportunity to do the same in the AFC West.

With the first of two first round picks, the Rams take the top running back prospect in Jeremiyah Love.  The outstanding Notre Dame running back averaged 6.9 yards per carry in helping lead Notre Dame to the National Championship Game in 2024.  In rushing for 1,125 yards on 163 carries and 17 touchdowns, Love enters the 2025 season as the top running back prospect.  Sean McVay will be giddy with an opportunity to add him to the offense in 2026.

Note: This pick is via Atlanta Falcons.

With their second top 10 pick, the Browns will used the pick acquired in the Travis Hunter deal to add some youth along their offensive line.  In Francis Mauigoa they get their tackle of the future. At 6-foot-6, 315 pounds, Mauiga continues to improve as a pass blocker at right tackle.  With current right tackle Jack Conklin getting up there in milage, the Browns could jump at the opportunity to lock up their tight tackle of the future.
