2026 NFL Mock Draft 11-15: Vikings land top running back, Cowboys get elite defender

No. 11: Washington Commanders – Jermod McCoy, CB, Tennessee
Jermod McCoy is the first cornerback off the board as the Commanders select him with the No. 11 overall pick. While corner isn’t the top need for the Commanders, it is one of their needs and they get a player with exceptional ball skills in McCoy who when healthy is the top cornerback in the draft. The only concern or potential setback is whether McCoy makes a full recovery from a torn ACL suffered back in January 2025. It’s a risk for the Commanders, but a high-reward one if they get the 2024 All-American version of McCoy.
No. 12: Los Angeles Rams via Atlanta – Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU
Cornerbacks go off the board back-to-back as the Los Angeles Rams get their cornerback with the selection of LSU’s Mansoor Delane with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Although on the smaller side at just 190 pounds, Delane has emerged as one of the top cornerbacks in the nation due to his instincts as a defender, tackling and scheme versatility. With two first round picks, the Rams address a need just outside the top 10 with the addition of Delane.
No. 13: Minnesota Vikings – Jeremiyah Love, HB, Notre Dame
The top running back in the draft goes off the board as the Minnesota Vikings select Notre Dame star Jeremiyah Love with the No. 13 overall pick. A three-down back who can impact the offense as both a runner and pass-catcher, Love will be on the radar of many teams selecting around this spot, but the Vikings snag him and get a player who may be the best running back talent they have had since Dalvin Cook as far as his dual-threat ability.
No. 14: Houston Texans – Spencer Fano, T, Utah
The Texans are starting to look like the team they were projected to be in 2025, but they still have a glaring need for offensive line help. Utah’s Spencer Fano addresses that need for the Texans. At 6-foo-6, 302 pounds, Spano is one of the top offensive tackles in the 2026 NFL Draft mostly due to his run blocking. Spano has great movement for his size and the versatility to play both tackle positions. Projects as a natural fit for the Texans.
No. 15: Dallas Cowboys– Arvell Reese, LB, Ohio State
The Cowboys are going to get an elite defender with one or both of their first-round picks in this draft. They start it off with the selection of Ohio State linebacker Arvell Reese. At 6-foot-4, 243 pounds, Reese has been surging up the NFL Draft board due to his high football IQ, athleticism and exceptional speed as a linebacker. With the ability to excel as either an off-ball linebacker or edge rusher, Reese will remind fans of the superstar the team traded away prior to the 2025 NFL season.
