Malachi Fields, WR, Notre Dame

  • Height: 6’4”| Weight: 220 lbs | Age: 22
  • NFL Draft projection: No. 93 overall to the Los Angeles Rams

An early-to-late Day 2 option for any team looking for wide receiver depth is Malachi Fields.  Standing at 6-foot-4, 218 pounds, the former Notre Dame wide receiver brings an elite contested catch skillset to the NFL.  Not only does he use his size and catch radius to high point catches in the middle of the field, but he also uses his physicality to out maneuverer defenders and block in the open field.

What stands out about Fields, is although he does not have over-the-top speed, he still finds ways to make playes like these:

Fields doesn’t have great separation speed, but as a physical receiver he can give a team like the Rams that third option at receiver they are looking for, especially playing with and behind Puka Nacua and Davante Adams.

Other teams with eyes on Fields: Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts
