  • NFL Draft projection: No. 49 overall to the Minnesota Vikings

Will Notre Dame produce the top two running backs in the 2026 NFL Draft?

While Love is dominating the headlines when it comes to the running back position, his side kick Jadarian Price might just be the second best running back in the draft.  As a projected high Day 2 pick, his best fit is the Minnesota Vikings at No. 49 overall in the draft.

As the RB2 behind Love, Price had his moments as a dual threat at running back.  In rushing for 674 yards with 11 touchdowns, Price established himself as a touchdown machine who can take it to the house from anywhere on the field.  He is also prolific in kickoff returns, highlighted a 101-yard kickoff return against USC.

Out from under the shadows of Love, could Price make his own impact at the NFL level.  He’ll have his chance handling the rock on a team like the Vikings who have a motivated QB in Kyler Murray and playmakers to be a high-scoring offense.  Add Price to the mix and the Vikings could be even more dynamic.

  • Other teams with eyes on Price: Pittsburgh Steelers, Houston Texans, Seattle Seahawks
