2025 NFL Draft prospects Jalen Milroe and Princely Umanmielen among top Week 11 standouts
By John Blair
In Week 11 of college football, several NFL Draft prospects made waves with standout performances that could shape their draft stock. Alabama’s Jalen Milroe dazzled with his running prowess, while Ole Miss defensive end Princely Umanmielen led a fierce effort against Georgia. Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers rebounded with a career-best showing, Oregon’s Jordan Burch impressed with both defensive power and agility, and Oklahoma linebacker Danny Stutsman continued his tackling dominance. As the season nears its end, these performances spotlight players poised to be major factors in the upcoming NFL Draft.
Five NFL Draft standouts from week 11
1. Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama
Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe was the standout performer this week, leading the Crimson Tide to a commanding 42-13 victory over LSU. Milroe showcased his dynamic playmaking ability, rushing for 185 yards on only 12 carries and scoring four touchdowns. Teams seeking a run-first quarterback will likely eye Milroe in the first two rounds of the draft. However, to succeed in the NFL, he’ll need to demonstrate that he can operate as a consistent passer, avoiding the pitfalls of a player like Anthony Richardson who struggled to adjust to the demands of an NFL passing game.
2. Princely Umanmielen, DE, Ole Miss
The most impressive win of Week 11 was Ole Miss’s commanding 28-10 victory over the third-ranked Georgia Bulldogs. The Rebels' dominant defensive line set the tone, consistently pressuring the quarterback and effectively shutting down Georgia's run game. Leading the charge was defensive end Princely Umanmielen, who notched two strip sacks and earned his highest Pro Football Focus pass-rushing grade of the season at 90.1. This performance marks Umanmielen’s third consecutive game with two sacks, bringing his season total to 9.5.
3. Quinn Ewers, QB, Texas
Following two average outings, Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers delivered a career-best performance against Florida, completing 70% of his passes for 333 yards and a personal record with five touchdowns, just one shy of the school record. Although it’s still uncertain if Ewers will be a first- or second-round pick, continued play at this level could see him selected as early as the third round in the 2025 NFL Draft
4. Jordan Burch, DE, Oregon
Another defensive lineman who had a standout performance rushing the passer is Oregon’s Jordan Burch, who earned a 91 pass-rushing grade from Pro Football Focus. Along with pressuring the quarterback four times on Saturday, Burch also forced a fumble and showcased impressive athleticism with a 36-yard run on a fake—an unexpected play from a 290-pound defensive lineman. His performance might have been even more dominant had he not been forced out of the game in the second half of the Ducks' win over Maryland.
5. Danny Stutsman, LB, Oklahoma
Although Oklahoma has had a challenging season, linebacker Danny Stutsman has stood out as one of the top linebacker prospects for the 2025 NFL Draft. He’s coming off a career-best performance, recording 19 tackles this past weekend, which brings his season total to 96. Stutsman is now on track for his third consecutive 100-tackle season, solidifying his status as a likely Day 2 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
