The NFL Draft is officially behind us and teams are hoping they filled important needs. While there were some big time selections, there were also a bunch of picks that flew under the radar.
Here is a look at some of the most underrated picks from the 2025 NFL Draft.
Las Vegas Raiders - Round 3, No. 99: Charles Grant OT, William & Mary
The Raiders made some big changes this offseason such as hiring Pete Carroll and making a trade to reunite him with Geno Smith, and drafting Ashton Jeanty in the first round. Once those moves were made, it was clear that the Raiders were going to prioritize protecting those two players and selecting Charles Grant 99th overall was a good start. Not many players out of William & Mary get drafted, so it goes to show how talented Grant is. The Raiders line was an issue last season so adding a guy that’s 6’4” 300 lbs with a lot of experience is the perfect developmental prospect for this team.
New York Jets - Round 4, No. 130: Malachi Moore, S, Alabama

Malachi Moore has been a key player on the Alabama defense for five years, and now should be able to carve out a role right away in the Jets secondary. His leadership and versatility were always on display as he was a captain of the Crimson Tide defense for two seasons and played multiple defensive back positions. His experience and elite production playing against high level college competition is rare to find in a 130th overall pick, so the Jets might have found a great value pick.
Round 5, No. 149: Jaydon Blue, RB, Texas
Jaydon Blue is a player that fell under the radar in a great running back class because he is undersized. Despite his size, he is a great athlete that was very productive for Texas in 2024. He has a combination of elite speed and good receiving skills that are going to make him a player to watch. The Cowboys selected him with the 149th overall pick which is a steal for a player that is as dynamic of a playmaker as he is. Even though the Cowboys brought in Javonte Williams this offseason, this move gives them much needed depth at the position.
