Top Rookie Tight End: Sam LaPorta (Lions)- 3rd win of the season

Talking about the rookies that stole the show again in Week 3, the first name that comes to mind is Sam Laporta. The tight end for the Lions has shown immense potential and has proven to be a valuable asset for his team. His ability to make the right decisions and exceptional receiving skills have set him apart from other rookies.

In Week 3, Laporta showcased his excellent route-running abilities, making him a reliable target for his quarterbacks. He had his best outing of 2023, pulling down 8 of his 11 targets for 84 yards and an incredible TD.

This is Laporta’s third Week as the most outstanding rookie TE, proving Vegas’s Michael Mayer and Bills’s Dalton Kincaid are not worth adversaries. With 18 receptions for 186 yards and a TD on the season, he is rivaling Travis Kelce-Swift as the best TE in the NFL. He is currently ranked No.2 overall for NFL tight ends and leads all fellow H-backs with his 186 yards.
