Top rookies of NFL Week 3: De’Von Achane explodes, C.J. Stroud elevates

Top rookie wide receiver: Tank Dell (Texans)

Week 3 of the NFL season also saw the rise of a promising wide receiver – Tank Dell of the Houston Texans. Dell has been impressing QB Stroyd and officially became his No.1 target in Sunday’s bloody upset of the Jaguars. From the start and his performance , he further solidified his position as a promising NFL rookie. His ability to make contested catches and exceptional route-running skills have made him a draft-day steal for the Texans, who desperately need weapons.

This past Sunday he showcased his ability to beat defensive backs and make big plays. His speed, elusiveness, and excellent catching skills have made him a go-to target for the Texans, amassing 5 of 7 targets for 145 yards and an incredible 68-yard TD. His 45-yard reception in the first quarter led to the Texan’s first TD, Giving them the lead they would never relinquish.

Dell proved he could be a game-changer, and his performance in Week 3 highlighted his potential as an NFL rookie and earned him Top Rookie of the Week at the wide receiver position.
