Top Rookie Running Back: Bijan Robinson (Falcons)

For the second week in a row, the Atlanta Falcons’ new running back, Bijan Robinson, is our top rookie running back yet again. With 19 carries in Week 2, Robinson made the most of his opportunities, averaging a noteworthy 6.5 yards per carry. His agility and vision were on full display as he weaved his way through the Green Bay defense.

Robinson’s impressive 128 total yards set him apart from the Detroit Lions’ Jahmyr Gibbs again. He trails only Christian Mcaffrey in rushing yards on the season, making him the top-performing rookie for a second consecutive time.

Top Rookie Wide Receiver: Puka Nacua (Rams)

The Los Angeles Rams’ fifth-round pick, Puka Nacua, claimed the spotlight in Week 2. With Cooper Kupp sidelined, Nacua seized the opportunity, hauling in 15 receptions on 20 targets for 147 yards against a formidable 49ers secondary. His performance through two games has him atop the league with 25 receptions and second in yardage with 266.

Nacua’s performance eclipsed all of the first-round rookie wideouts again. In comparison, Zay Flowers, Jordan Addison, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and Quentin Johnston combined for 13 receptions and 174 yards . The four first-rounders couldn’t match the numbers the Rams’ new star receiver put up all by himself.
