NFL Week 2 — Matchup No. 2: Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Ravens’ Resilience Or Bengals’ Bounce Back?

The Baltimore Ravens started their 2023 campaign on a high note with a solid victory over the Houston Texans in Week 1. Despite the absence of key players such as running back J.K. Dobbins and safety Marcus Williams, the Ravens managed to secure the win.

Contrastingly, the Cincinnati Bengals are looking to bounce back after a disappointing loss to the Cleveland Browns. The Bengals, led by quarterback Joe Burrow, will aim to rekindle their offensive spark and put up an intense fight against the Ravens.

Keep Your Eyes On The Ravens’ Defense vs. The Bengals’ Offense

The Ravens’ defense, although depleted, has shown their ability to stifle potent offenses, and their clash with the Bengals’ offense could be the defining element of this game. Tee Higgins was held without a catch last week, and Joe Burrow looked like he was still on summer vacation; that will not be the case against the Ravens this week—those two should connect quickly and often in this bounce-back attempt.

While the Ravens are slight favorites heading into this match, the Bengals have the potential to pull off an upset if their offense can rise to the occasion. If the Bengals pull off the win, it would even out the landscape of the AFC North between the Browns, Ravens, and Bengals, causing a tumultuous season-long battle for the North.
