AFC South Predictions: T-Law Takes A Leap

1. Jacksonville Jaguars (10-7)*

2. Tennessee Titans (8-9)

3. Indianapolis Colts (6-11)

4. Houston Texans (5-12)

The AFC South is a constant butt of jokes around the NFL world — and rightfully so. For much of the past decade, it didn’t require many regular-season victories to seize a divisional crown. Just last season, the Jaguars won the AFC South with only nine wins.

This year, it will be more of the same. Jacksonville should take another step up in 2023 with the guidance of head coach Doug Pederson and quarterback Trevor Lawrence. If the defense can step up, primarily in the secondary, then celebrations will continue in Duval.

The Titans could make things interesting up top, but there are far too many question marks along the roster to predict anything more than a middle-of-the-road record. For the Colts and Texans, the 2023 season is all about developing their investments at quarterback. Fans should be satisfied so long as Anthony Richardson and C.J. Stroud show growth.
