Bold Predictions: Saints Wideout Chris Olave Leads NFL WRs In Receiving Yards

Speaking of superstar wide receivers, Chris Olave is a powder keg waiting to explode. After bursting onto the scene in Year 1, the Ohio State product has received rave reviews from beat writers all offseason, with many proclaiming he is the next Justin Jefferson or Ja’Marr Chase.

This may sound like hyperbole, as Jefferson and Chase have an argument to be the WR1 and WR2 of the entire NFL. Still, given Olave’s sheer talent, including deceptive speed and premier route running, perhaps these claims aren’t outlandish.

To further support the case around Olave’s ascent, the Saints also brought in a substantial upgrade at quarterback. Veteran Derek Carr is not without his faults, but compared to Andy Dalton, Carr might as well be Peyton Manning. The former Raider has a long track record of zeroing in on his primary target and getting the ball to them often. I see Chris Olave leading the NFL in receiving yards when all is said and done.
