Fantasy Football Name To Avoid No. 5: Alvin Kamara, RB, Saints

ADP: 87 (RB32)

Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Alvin Kamara was once a fixture at the top of the first round at fantasy football drafts everywhere. Now — with a potential suspension looming — Kamara has avalanched down draft boards.

Even without factoring in off-field issues, the Tennessee alum has witnessed a dip in efficiency and passing game usage since Drew Brees’ retirement. Kamara averaged 3.9 yards per carry in that span while seeing his receptions cut drastically.

The Saint star finished as the RB18 last season, but his performances were sporadic. Managers never knew what to expect on a week-to-week basis. The addition of Derek Carr is intriguing for all the skill positions in New Orleans, but Kamara is too much of a question mark to trust in lineups.
