NFL head coaches hot seat: Kevin Stefanski, Cleveland Browns

Kevin Stefanski’s first season as the Cleveland Browns head coach was a huge success. They went 11-5, and Stefanski was named the coach of the year. They got to the playoffs for the first time since 2002 and won a playoff game for the first time since 1994.

The following two seasons, however, were not as successful. The Browns have had back-to-back losing seasons, going 8-9 and 7-10, respectively.

The Browns made some nice additions this offseason with the likes of Dalvin Tomlinson and Za’Darius Smith. But the most important thing for the Browns is quarterback Deshaun Watson, who should be acclimated enough after starting six games last season to hit the ground running in 2023.

If the Browns fail to make the playoffs for a third straight season under Stefanski, they might look to make a change.
