Jordan Addison is set to see tons of targets as a rookie. Have the Minnesota Vikings found a long-term running mate for Justin Jefferson?

NFC North Offensive Rookie of the Year Contender

Jordan Addison, WR, Minnesota Vikings. Round 1, Pick 23

Talk about landing in the perfect situation to burst onto the scene as a rookie. All Jordan Addison did during his three years playing for Pittsburgh and USC was catch 219 balls for 2,534 and 29 touchdowns.

He’s on the smaller side at 5-foot-11 and 178 pounds, but watching the lanky wideout on film, you see a guy who makes football look easy. Addison should immediately step into the starting lineup opposite Justin Jefferson after the Vikings moved on from Adam Thielen. The youngster will be the beneficiary of single coverage as defenses focus on stopping JJetta.

With the Vikings’ questions on defense, the offense will likely find itself in regular shootouts and look to be more focused on the passing game after letting Dalvin Cook go. Captain Consistency (Kirk Cousins), behind what should be a solid offensive line, could easily throw for his seventh 4,000+ yard season — with a good portion of those yards going to Addison.
