No. 2: Influx Of Talent This Offseason

The roster is considerably better now than it was at the end of the season. From free agent signings on the offensive line to draft picks on the defensive side, the depth chart finally looks like a presentable unit in the NFC.

Tremaine Edmunds signed on to lead the linebacker corps for the next four seasons, giving Matt Eberflus his tentpole defender for the middle of the unit. While Edmunds is a different player from Shaq Leonard, he can occupy the same slot in the scheme.

Fields has weapons to utilize and a defense that he can lean on. Comfort is invaluable to a young signal-caller, and after an offseason of assembling the roster around him, Chicago has its prize investment sitting pretty.
