Jaxon Smith-Njigba, target of the Seattle Seahawks in the 2023 NFL Draft.

San Francisco 49ers – Jartavius “Quan” Martin, DB, Illinois

Jartavius “Quan” Martin is one of my favorite players in the 2023 NFL Draft. He is incredibly versatile, in every sense of the word. He can play free safety, strong safety, nickel, and outside corner. He is fast, athletic, long, and physical. He can play any position asked of him and would be a perfect complement to All-Pro Talanoa Hufanga, who was also one of my favorite players in his respective draft.

Seattle Seahawks – Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Ohio State

Jaxon Smith-Njigba is my number one wide receiver in the 2023 NFL Draft. He is silky smooth and just always finds a way to get open. He would be a perfect complement to D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, and could eventually fill the Lockett role in the Seattle offense if/when they part ways. With Metcalf winning on the outside and Lockett taking the top off of the defense, similar to Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave during JSN’s best season with the Buckeyes, he will find a similar role in the slot and would earn a ton of targets from Geno Smith right away in 2023.

Los Angeles Rams – B.J. Ojulari, EDGE, LSU

The Los Angeles Rams have one of the worst rosters in the NFL right now. Outside of Cooper Kupp, Aaron Donald (who has reportedly been contemplating retirement), and Matthew Stafford (who is coming off of injury and could be heading towards retirement himself) they have pretty much no proven commodities on their NFL roster.

The Rams are beginning what appears to be a HUGE rebuild. To me, that means they need to prioritize the cornerstone positions (quarterback, left tackle, edge rusher, and cornerback). Without a first-round pick, the Rams need to take the best player available at one of those positions in the second round.

The main player that I would target is LSU edge rusher B.J. Ojulari. Ojulari is an absolute fireball off the edge. He has great burst and bend around the edge and a relentless motor to get to the quarterback. He would fill the Leonard Floyd role in the Rams defense and would be a building block alongside Aaron Donald-hopefully-moving forward.

Arizona Cardinals – Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, Alabama

Given the fact that the Arizona Cardinals are in a similar spot as the Rams, I would advise them the same thing in terms of positions to target. But this player is just such a perfect fit. It is also important to get dynamic playmakers, such as Alabama running back Jahmyr Gibbs.

Gibbs would be a perfect complement to Cardinals running back James Conner as a rookie and could become a go-to player for quarterback Kyler Murray moving forward. He is great as a receiver, explosive and elusive in the open field, and has the homerun speed to finish off big runs for touchdowns. I love the fit for Gibbs on a young and rebuilding Arizona offense.
