13. New York Jets: Broderick Jones, OT, Georgia

The New York Jets won’t be trading this pick for Aaron Rodgers, that much is clear. What also is clear is that offensive line is a huge priority. They get the third of the tackles in this 2023 NFL Mock Draft in Broderick Jones. Jones has impressive athleticism skills in space as a blocker, but needs some cleanup technically. Still, taking a swing on this much upside? Absolutely.

14. New England Patriots: Joey Porter Jr., CB, Penn State

The New England Patriots have been linked to wide receiver a bit, but it just seems unlikely. Rather, the Patriots might want to upgrade at corner. Even with the production they got from all the Jones guys in the secondary, Joey Porter Jr. is on another level. Armed with ridiculous length and physicality, he’ll fit really nicely in this defense.

15. Seattle Seahawks (via GB): Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Ohio State

Seattle sends picks 20 and 83 for pick 15 in the 2023 NFL Draft.

The Seattle Seahawks got tired of waiting in this 2023 NFL Mock Draft, and while they missed out at quarterback, here’s to building around Smith. Tyler Lockett is getting up there in age, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba would be an excellent fit. If the idea of three receiver sets sticks, getting a slot stud who can separate, win in all three phases, and block is the move to help Smith look for layups to move the chains. Then, Smith-Njigba can become the long-term “Z”.

16. Washington Commanders: Bijan Robinson, RB, Texas

The Washington Commanders are another big wild card in the draft. The needs aren’t accentuated like others in the top 20. Corner and offensive line make sense, but why not Bijan Robinson? Robinson gives Jacoby Brissett or Sam Howell less pressure, as well as a checkdown threat. Robinson forces missed tackles at a ridiculous rate, and is one of the best running back prospects in a long time.
