Round 2, Pick 44: Felix Anudike-Uzomah, EDGE, Kansas State

The Atlanta Falcons have two young edge rushers in Arnold Ebiketie and DeAngelo Malone, both of whom provide plenty of juice with their explosiveness and change of direction skills. Adding more size and power is necessary in the room. Enter Felix Anudike-Uzomah, who brings a different element as an edge rusher. Anudike-Uzomah does a great job trimming his angle to the quarterback. He can sequence moves and counters well to soften the edge. He plays with a hot motor and will be a great addition to the defensive line.

Round 3, Pick 75: Tyler Scott, WR, Cincinnati

There’s plenty of size at receiver and tight end for the Atlanta Falcons. Drake London looks the part. Kyle Pitts can easily bounce back in year three. Mack Hollins was a solid add in free agency. Now, time to add some speed. Tyler Scott is that element of speed. The Cincinnati receiver has easy speed to threaten deep, and is very efficient through his route breaks. He’s got the salesman in him to make safeties turn and get late route separation. Scott’s explosiveness will be welcomed in that offense, not to mention it adds a bit of familiarity for a young quarterback in Ridder, who played with Scott on the Bearcats in college.
