9. Seattle Seahawks: Myles Murphy, DE, Clemson

The Seahawks moved back with Carolina, and this is still a good first selection for them in this 2023 NFL Mock Draft. They too need help along the defense, and Myles Murphy is a talented edge rusher with the physical traits and length to be a strong three-down defender. Can he improve the production in the NFL? That’s the one major question looming.

10. Philadelphia Eagles: Lukas Van Ness, EDGE, Iowa

The Philadelphia Eagles have plenty of things to figure out this offseason, like extensions for a few defensive linemen, Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, and Miles Sanders. But, they need more help on the edge and that’s a place that Howie Roseman loves to address early. Lukas Van Ness is an explosive and powerful rusher with the tools to make an NFL jump on the edge.

11. Tennessee Titans: Paris Johnson Jr., OT, Ohio State

The Tennessee Titans must get better on the offensive line, period. Taylor Lewan is reportedly on the way out on top of it. With all three tackles available, it’s pick your favorite at this point. Paris Johnson Jr. is a fantastic athlete with the quicks and linear explosiveness to dominate the run game, and he has great foot speed to mirror in pass pro.

12. Houston Texans: Peter Skoronski, OL, Northwestern

Protecting a player with Young’s frame should be top priority, and even if tackle is settled, getting Peter Skoronski would be fabulous. Skoronski plays with great leverage and power, but if his arm length gets him pushed inside, he can succeed there too.

13. New York Jets: Brian Branch, S, Alabama

The New York Jets surprise in this 2023 NFL Mock Draft, passing on tackle in the first round. Instead, they solidify the safety position, getting the consensus top safety in the draft in Brian Branch. Branch moving to the roof is a bit of a projection, but he has the processing skills and closing speed to succeed there.

14. New England Patriots: Broderick Jones, OT, Georgia

The Patriots need to get better in multiple areas on offense, but tackle looks barren right now. Broderick Jones should test extremely well at the combine, and could even push himself to the OT1 off the board in April. His athleticism and ability to hold up in pass pro with inconsistent technique shows how high his ceiling is.

15. Seattle Seahawks (via GB): Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida

Details: Seahawks send picks 20, 52 for pick 15

What a wild turn of events in this 2023 NFL Mock Draft. Seattle stops the Anthony Richardson slide here at 15, moving up with Green Bay to prevent a few other teams from making the move (one of them is right below). Richardson is Seattle is a perfect storm. His deep ball and rushing ability would work well in the system, but his pocket instincts are things you can’t teach. He’s better than advertised and just 21 years old.

16. Washington Commanders: O’Cyrus Torrence, OG, Florida

Washington misses out on a quarterback, but corner could be in play here. Instead, they get better on the interior, selecting O’Cyrus Torrence. Torrence is a brick wall in pass pro with better-than-advertised quicks and balance as a run blocker.
