EDGE. Clemson. player. 44. 8. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Myles Murphy

One of the worst teams at generating pressure in 2022, the Atlanta Falcons select Myles Murphy from Clemson in order to dramatically improve their defensive line. At 6-foot-4 and 275 pounds, Murphy is a physical freak who has the athleticism and speed to win on the edge as well as kick into the 3-technique in certain passing situations. Murphy wins in both the run and pass games, and could be the consistent contributor that the team has been looking for to pair with tackle Grady Jarrett.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Peter Skoronski. 32. OT. Northwestern. 9. player

After trading back with the Panthers earlier in the mock draft, the Arizona Cardinals still select perhaps the best offensive lineman in Northwestern’s Peter Skoronski. Whether he ends up at tackle or guard at the next level, Skoronski has the ability to keep franchise quarterback Kyler Murray upright, something that has been a problem over the past few years. Despite having some physical inadequacies, such as shorter arms, Skoronski’s high IQ and experience makes him a solid, top-10 prospect.

10. player. 55. OT. Paris Johnson Jr. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Ohio State

After trading up with the instate rival Eagles, the Pittsburgh Steelers sure up their offensive line with Ohio State tackle Paris Johnson Jr. Johnson is not only one of the best offensive lineman prospects in this draft, but he also has the qualities and experience of a true left tackle, which the Steelers desperately need in front of Kenny Pickett. Plus, the Steelers are in a good spot to trade up after acquiring the 32nd overall pick from Chicago for Chase Claypool.

Oklahoma. 11. player. 35. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. OT. Anton Harrison

The Tennessee Titans get in on a run of offensive tackles with the selection of Oklahoma’s Anton Harrison. With a good chance that franchise tackle Taylor Lewan’s time is done in Tennessee, a new anchor like Harrison should be a top priority in any mock draft. Harrison could become a reliable presence upfront for an offense that hopes to get back to their ground game dominance next season, and the team will certainly need more protection for whoever starts at quarterback in 2023.
