Round 4, 131st Overall: Tyler Steen, OT, Alabama

The Cincinnati Bengals, no matter how much they continue to invest, find themselves having issues with the offensive line. Is there a perfect solution other than building depth? Probably not, so that’s the move in this mock draft here in round four. Tyler Steen is an interesting prospect at tackle, with impressive lower body strength to uproot and drive opponents off their spot in the run game. He has impressive balance as a pass protector as well.

Round 5, 165th Overall: Jakorian Bennett, CB, Maryland

Cam Taylor-Britt has made some splash plays as a rookie. Chidobe Awuzie is back for 2023, but there’s no guarantee it’s longer than that. Will Hill end up a corner? It’s possible, but in a conference of titans, coverage is important. Jakorian Bennett has intriguing size and speed, clocking well on GPS speed at the Senior Bowl. There are development possibilities there worth taking a chance on here on day three.

Round 6, 206th Overall: Yaya Diaby, DE, Louisville

A rotating group of pass rushers is always a great thing to have on defense, even if the Cincinnati Bengals opt to keep Trey Hendrickson and Sam Hubbard out there a ton. Yaya Diaby is a bit of a tweener but should operate more as a defensive end in the NFL.

Round 7, 248th Overall: SaRodorick Thompson, RB, Texas Tech

The running back room could really thin for the Bengals in the offseason if Samaje Perine isn’t brought back. It leaves Joe Mixon, who will be due for an extension soon, and Chris Evans. SaRodorick Thompson is a bigger back with impressive burst and vision, who can create in space as well.
