Denver Broncos: Russell Wilson

For better or worse, the Denver Broncos and Russell Wilson are tied to one another for the foreseeable future, after giving up numerous draft picks and a large extension to land the former Seahawk. Wilson and the Broncos offense let the defense down throughout the season, but 2023 should be a bounce back year for a talented offense that lost their way last season.

Kansas City Chiefs: Patrick Mahomes

In terms of job security, Patrick Mahomes might have the safest job in America, not only in sports, but in any industry. In five seasons as a starter, the Mahomes-led Kansas City Chiefs have gone to five straight AFC Championship games and three Super Bowls, and the quarterback seems set to win his second league MVP for the 2022 season. Even with the loss of Tyreek Hill, Mahomes failed to skip a beat as he logged over 5,000 passing yards for the second time in his career.

Las Vegas Raiders: Aaron Rodgers

Acquiring Aaron Rodgers would certainly be an all-in move for the Las Vegas Raiders, but a reunion with Davante Adams might be too interesting to pass up. The recent back-to-back MVP would be a step up at the QB position for Vegas, and with Adams, Hunter Renfrow, and Darren Waller to throw to, Rodgers and coach Josh McDaniels could orchestrate an offense that would cause most NFL defenses a lot of worry.

Los Angeles Chargers: Justin Herbert

The Los Angeles Chargers should have one goal in 2023: get Justin Herbert a playoff win. After a 27-point lead in the Wildcard round that vanished at the blink of an eye, the Chargers have proven that they need to get Herbert more help, starting with the hire of Kellen Moore as offensive coordinator. Herbert became the all-time leading passer through a player’s first three seasons in the league and is an elite talent at quarterback.
