Round 6, 179th Overall: Moro Ojomo, DL, Texas

The Los Angeles Rams could have a very thin room at defensive tackle in the offseason. They have a few ERFAs that they can bring back, but the big UFA to watch is Greg Gaines, who has developed into a factor alongside Aaron Donald. Getting him more help, especially if Gaines walks, will be huge. The Texas Longhorns have a trio of defensive linemen who could enter the draft this year. One of them likely returns, but the other two could be impact NFL players next fall.

Moro Ojomo is strong in both facets of the game, with impressive power and an anchor to hold the line of scrimmage, and the linear explosiveness to attack gaps as a pass rusher. He has 24 pressures and five sacks in the regular season for the Longhorns.

Round 6, 186th Overall: Zak Zinter, OL, Michigan

In the need of offensive line help? Look no further than the Michigan Wolverines, who are in the running to win (and probably should win) the Joe Moore Award. Zak Zinter is one of those guys, who hasn’t allowed a sack as a right guard this season for the Wolverines. Zinter is a powerful player at the point of attack who can move people in the run game, and he’s consistently looking to finish defenders in both phases.

Round 6, 198th Overall: Jay Ward, S, LSU

The secondary run continues here in the sixth round for the Los Angeles Rams, who just need to keep adding at corner and safety. Jay Ward is an intriguing prospect out of LSU, who has six career interceptions and has the versatility to play on the roof or in the slot.

Update: Jay Ward has officially declared for the 2023 NFL Draft.
