This weekend we saw several great performances from 2023 NFL Draft prospects. The top performance was by Spencer Rattler, who lead South Carolina to a victory over fifth-ranked Tennesse. We also saw several great performances from some of the top backs in the 2023 NFL Draft and a small school receiver who put up an unbelievable 351 receiving yards.

1. Spencer Rattler, QB, South Carolina
South Carolina quarterback Spencer Rattler had the game of his life against fifth-ranked Tennessee. He showcased many of the traits that made him a former five-star recruit including terrific arm strength, the mobility to keep plays alive, and impressive accuracy. Overall, on the day he finished the day with six touchdown passes for 438 yards while completing 81% of his passes.

2. Bijan Robinson, RB, Texas
Texas running back Bijan Robinson proved he is worth a high first-round pick in the Kansas game. He was able to rush for 243 yards and four touchdowns against the Jayhawks. He also showcased the traits you want to see out of a franchise-level running back including elite power, the patience to allow plays to develop, and the speed to break off the long run.

3. Mohamed Ibrahim, RB, Minnesota
While his fumble late in the fourth quarter is hard to overlook so is the 263 rushing yards Minnesota running back Mohamed Ibrahim put up against one of the top defenses in college football. What is even more impressive is that he was basically a one-man show accouting for 65% of the team’s total yards.

4. Odieu Hilaire, WR, Bowling Green
While it’s unlikely that Bowling Green wide receiver Odeiu Hillaire will get drafted, his performance against Toledo proves he should get some looks as an undrafted free agent. Against the Rockets he caught 7 passes for 243 yards and two touchdowns. One of his best plays was when he caught an over the shoulder touchdown pass between two defenders.

5. Ty James, WR, Mercer
It is hard to see Mercer wide receiver TY James declaring for the NFL Draft but it is impossible to look past the 351 receiving yards he put up against Samford. He was also able to come away with two touchdowns on the day.

6. John Marshall, LB, Navy
Navy pulled off one of the biggest upsets in college football last week defeating 20th-ranked Central Florida. One of the biggest reasons for this victory was the play by linebacker John Marshall. In this game, he came with four sacks which tied for the second most in the FBS this season. It also gave him 10.5 sacks on the year which is a school record.

7. Jordan Addison, WR, USC
USC’s Jordan Addison had the best game of his USC career hauling in 11 passes for 178 yards. In this game he showed the ability to get behind defenders, and also the shiftiness to make opponents miss him in the open field. If Addison declares for the draft look for him to get serious consideration on day two of the NFL Draft.

8. Elijah Cooks, WR, San Jose State
One of the best sleepers in this year’s draft is San Jose State wide receiver, Elijah Cooks. In his latest game against Utah State, he was able to haul in three touchdown receptions while averaging 17.9 yards per catch. Some smart team would be wise to snag Cooks in the sixth or seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

9. Jake Moody, K, Michigan
Jake Moody proved why he is the number one kicker in the 2023 NFL Draft with his performance on Saturday. Against Illinois, he connected on all four of his field goals including two from over 40 yards.

10. Jack Campbell, LB, Iowa
One of the most productive defenders in college football has been Iowa linebacker Jack Campbell, who leads the Big Ten in tackles. He likely had his best game of the year this past weekend against Minnesota, Against the Gophers he came away with 10 tackles and an interception late in the fourth quarter which set up the game-winning field goal.
