5. Las Vegas Raiders: Paris Johnson Jr., OT, Ohio State

The Las Vegas Raiders didn’t start well, but they’ve been a competitive unit stuck in a very difficult conference. The talent is there, but the offensive line is still a work in progress, no matter how good Josh McDaniels has done to hide it. Paris Johnson Jr. has been very impressive in his move out to left tackle from right guard in 2022. He has the size for the position, great footwork to mirror, and the length to handle the best of the best on the edge.

6. Houston Texans: Will Levis, QB, Kentucky

Yeah, the Houston Texans miss out on the top two quarterbacks in this 2023 NFL Mock Draft, but they still grab Will Levis here. ESPN’s Todd McShay talked about how Levis is already getting some number one overall consideration. This happens every year, and the Texans would definitely be a team that does it. He has the strong arm and flashes of accuracy and playmaking ability to warrant some first round consideration.

7. Atlanta Falcons: Bryan Bresee, DL, Clemson

The Atlanta Falcons strike out at quarterback, but that doesn’t mean they’re in a bad spot in this 2023 NFL Mock Draft. The defensive line group is talented, and Bryan Bresee would be a phenomenal addition. The amount of havoc Bresee creates up front would make things very difficult with Grady Jarrett beside him.

8. Houston Texans (via CLE): B.J. Ojulari, EDGE, LSU

After getting their quarterback, the Texans look to the defensive side of the football. They’ve got Jon Greenard, but getting another impact player along the defensive line is huge. B.J. Ojulari can win as a pass rusher in a variety of ways with his explosive first step, wicked change of direction skills, and effortless bend.
