21. Seattle Seahawks (via DEN): Trenton Simpson, LB, Clemson

The Seattle Seahawks got their quarterback of the future earlier, and now it’s time to turn to the defensive side of the ball. Jordyn Brooks has proven to be a solid pick thus far, but getting him a running mate is a good call. Trenton Simpson has a rare skill set as an undersized linebacker, but he could thrive in Seattle in space.

22. Los Angeles Chargers: Jaelyn Duncan, OT, Maryland

The Los Angeles Chargers went the smart route in 2022, getting Zion Johnson to shore up the interior offensive line. If Trey Pipkins struggles this fall, right tackle needs to be addressed. In this 2023 NFL Mock Draft, Jaelyn Duncan is the pick. Duncan’s athleticism and footwork provide the tools to form a great duo with Rashawn Slater.

23. Miami Dolphins (via SF): J.L. Skinner, S, Boise State

The Miami Dolphins have a need at center, but again, this might still be too early to force the issue at the position. Instead, they find a running mate for Jevon Holland that has a ton of tools. J.L. Skinner has elite size and speed for the position, and can align in a variety of spots and be effective.

24. Indianapolis Colts: Garrett Williams, CB, Syracuse

The Indianapolis Colts might have something in Isaiah Rodgers at corner, but trading Rock Ya-Sin opened a hole on the perimeter opposite Rodgers. In this 2023 NFL Mock Draft, they find a corner with the physicality and cover skills to round out the secondary in Garrett Williams. Williams has been on the draft radar for a while and has breakout potential in 2022.
