Who graded best from the 2022 NFL Draft in the NFC East? What were each team’s best selection?

Historically, the NFC East has been the most successful division in the NFL. The NFC East is the only division to have all 4 teams hoist the Lombardi Trophy. Collectively, the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, and Washington Commanders have combined for 21 conference championships and 13 Super Bowls.

Despite this success, recent years have been a bit lackluster. Words like “pathetic” and “abysmal” were some of the nicer terms used when describing the “NFC Least.” Apart from last year, this division had two consecutive years with the worst combined record in the NFL in 2019 and 2020. Mismanagement, personnel changes, and overall division inconsistency are contributing factors. In fact, the division is so inconsistent that they haven’t had a repeat division champ since the Philadelphia Eagles won 4 straight from 2001-2004.

It is safe to say that all of the teams looked to capitalize on the 2022 NFL Draft in order to obtain marquee players and change the landscape of the division. Whether or not the teams will be successful can only be told with time, but an immediate reaction to the 2022 NFL Draft for the NFC East teams will leave some fans puzzled and others buying new jerseys. This article serves to grade all four teams while providing the best overall player selected from each team.
