2022 NFL Draft: Grading Every Team’s 2022 NFL Draft Haul
By Hunter Haas
Dolphins (4 picks):
3:38 – Channing Tindall, LB, Georgia
4:20 – Erik Ezukanma, WR, Texas Tech
7:03 – Cameron Goode, EDGE, California
7:26 – Skylar Thompson, QB, Kansas State
The Miami Dolphins have had quite the eventful offseason. They hired new head coach, Mike McDaniel, who came over from San Fransico following Brian Flores’ departure from South Beach. McDaniel is highly respected as an offensive mind in NFL circles, serving as the right hand man to Kyle Shanahan for nearly a decade.
In free agency, the team filled arguably their biggest need at left tackle with former Saint, Terron Armstead. Oh yeah, Miami also traded a slew of draft picks to Kansas City to bring in one of the best players in the entire league, Tyreek Hill. This left the team’s cupboard bare in terms of 2022 NFL Draft picks.
Still, they were able to grab linebacker Channing Tindall in the third round, a guy that fits their defense like a glove. Erik Ezukanma has the traits to make the roster and to eventually grow into a middle-of-the-depth chart wide receiver in the league. They made the most of a limited situation, but due to a sheer lack of volume, they get one of the lowest grades.
