Round 7, 236th Overall: Ryan Van Demark, OT, Connecticut

Without the early pick at tackle for the Los Angeles Chargers, it’s important to keep swinging. Waletzko could pan out, but there aren’t guarantees on day three. Ryan Van Demark is another prospect who had a good pre-draft process. His performance at the Shrine Bowl was good, and he has the footwork, hand placement, and anchor to be a good pass protector on the right side.

Round 7, 254th Overall: Zach VanValkenburg, DL, Iowa

Mack and Joey Bosa is a phenomenal pairing, but as with the Henningsen pick, just add more to the rotation. Zach VanValkenburg plays with good power and hand usage to push the pocket and trim the edge, and his motor will run hot, whether it’s in pursuit from the backside or his relentless attitude to get to the quarterback.

Round 7, 255th Overall: Isaih Pacheco, RB, Rutgers

There’s hope for Larry Rountree, but adding more speed at running back isn’t a bad idea this late in the 2022 NFL Draft. Isiah Pachecho’s 40-time raised some eyebrows, and he has that burst and straight line speed on tape. He tends to bounce runs, but the speed and natural hands would be well worth it this late.

Round 7, 260th Overall: Samori Toure, WR, Nebraska

One final pick for the Los Angeles Charges in round seven, and that pick is Nebraska’s Samori Toure. Toure has been making the rounds late in the process, and he has a good vertical profile with the plus tracking ability and hands to bring reliability wherever he goes.
